Portraiture master class

Last week i had a 4 day masterclass at VCA. The mix of students was good, varying from all the schools and also other year levels (ie. post grad, honours etc.) Here are a few installation views of our final project and also my collaborative work with Drew Pettifer http://www.drewpettifer.com/ .

Another abando

A visit to another abando in Yarraville, Rather than intimate, dark rooms like the last one, this one had vast open factory floors, long stripped of the contents that once kept them alive. The walls are now covered by graffiti, creating a new feeling within the space.

A day at the Yarraville abando

Today Chantel, Antonia, Sarah, Yalei, Zac Dylan and myself went off to an abando in Yarraville. Here are some photos i took there. I love the light in this place, will probably head back some time soon to check it out.
